Salmon Run Chardonnay 2013

Salmon Run Chardonnay 2013 Finger lake, NY

It’s a East Coast wine! Finally I met this fantastic East Coast Chardonnay in Arizona.
This Salmon Run Chardonnay 2013 Finger lake from NY has light straw color with crispy and tangy aroma. On the palate, hint of sweetness, green apple and last few second you taste some bitterness. The sweetness reminds me Sauvignon Blanc-ish but no edge. Its medium bodied with the sugar and acidity are well balanced. Easy to drink sipping wine. I would definitely go back to the shop “IF” the shop is close by…. I have to wait till when I go to the Phenix.

I found this nice Salmon Run Chardonnay 2013 at Hidden Track Bottle Shop in Phenix AZ. Me and my husband were at Convention center to check out RV shows. I googled near by wine shop and Hidden Track Bottle Shop came up. For the first time visiter, it was hard to find the shop though. It was inside business building. They had a lot of interesting wines. Normally we ask how the wine taste, heavy, fruity, smooth etc.. Craig, the owner was knowledgeable about their wines. But when I saw this Salmon Run Chardonnay 2013 from Finger Lake and under $20 I had no question. I was like I have to try this! We picked four bottles to go home with us.
